| I was reffered to Ramnik at Diamondel by a friends wife who's family has done business with previously. As are most young single guys, I was a rookie at buying jewelry and had only done research via websites. I had gone to one of the jewelry stores to look for a ring, and of course no one had what I wanted but they promised me they would call me and order some other stones, never heard back. Other jewelers tried to down play all the research I had done making me feel like the Jewelry Biz was rocket science and I hadn't even scatched the surface. Ramnik graciously greeted me at his door, as I called on him unannounced. We sat down and he explained a few things to me, of which was spot on through my research. His store is a hidden upscale building that offers customers a professional, quiet, secluded, yet warm atmosphere that helps to really "dig in" and receive great service. Long story short, he got me the best diamond and setting in 5 minutes...Although I knew what I wanted, he made it very easy and gave suggestions based on my wants/needs. After choosing the engagement diamond and setting, we chatted for more than 30 minutes about experiences and life in general. He is a great listener and I consider him a friend. I was referred to Ramnick at Diamandel from a good friend of mine who refuses to buy jewelery from anyone else! He told me that I had to go see Ramnick, because he is a friend not a salesman. A week later I was 300 miles away from Jackson, Ms looking at more diamonds than I could count with price tags that were a considerable amount less than anyone in town or on the internet. He spent nearly 4 hours with me and my mother, we talked about everything... He made sure I was getting what I wanted. I was indecisive on the setting and thought I might get one somewhere else. When that fell through Ramnick was patient, He catered to all of my needs held the diamond for me and got me a very similar setting for much cheeper!! I feel like I have an honest, good friend in Baton Rouge, and he will have my business for life!

All the knowledge about how to identify a quality stone still doesn't guarantee a great deal on a diamond. Once I was in Ramnik's office, I was so impressed because he was nothing like all of the questionable "salesmen" I had been dealing with. | heard about diamondel from a friend and didn't know if i should check it out. I am so glad that i did. The service was exceptional, the information and time that was given to me was unbelieveable. I must have went over hundreds of rings from different stone sizes and shapes to several different designers. Still they really made time for me on several different ocations, and answered anything that i asked. To ensure any questions that i had about the diamond, i was allowed to look at it under a microscope, found out its exact wieght to the hundredth of a gram, measure its shape, and its brillance of light. Finally i decided on a Plat Tacori setting with a 1.52 ct round stone, that was GIA classified hearts and arrows or excellent cut, polish, and symmetry. The price was the best part of the whole deal. After finding the ring i went to another jewler in town to compare. Most jewelers could not even get a diamond of this quality. There was no comparison. Diamondel was by far the best deal.(thousands less!) I would recommend anyone looking for jewelery of any kind to please call or check out Diamondel. Trust me it will be the best decision that you have made, i know that it was for me.

I originally started my search for a ring with another jeweler and after meeting with the other jeweler three or four times, something threw me off. I started to doubt whether I was talking to someone who was being truly honest w/ me.
From the first time I met w/ him I was confident that I was speaking w/ someone who had years of experience and truly cared that I got the perfect ring for me and my future fiance. After sitting w/ him for about an hour, he got a feel for what I was looking for and the next day he contacted me to let me know that he found a stone that he thought was the stone for me. And sure enough, it was.
I even called the other jeweler to compare prices one last time and he quoted me over $1,200 more than Ramnik for a slightly lesser stone.
